If you sign up

The free unlock form asks for your first name and email, and optionally what you build and your preferred units. When you submit it, we store:

• Your first name, email address, and the optional answers you chose
• Whether you ticked the optional box agreeing to occasional emails (yes or no), and when you signed up
• The country your request came from, as reported by our host (not your exact location or IP address)
• Your browser's user-agent string, to help spot spam sign-ups

To stop automated abuse, the sign-up service keeps a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated attempts. The IP address itself isn't stored.

The email box is optional; the unlock works either way. If you tick it, we use your email only to send occasional EpoxyPlan updates: new tools, guides and the odd tip. If you don't, we won't send you marketing email. No spam, and every email will have an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing [email protected].

We never sell, rent or share your email with other companies.

Stored on your device

EpoxyPlan saves your work in your browser's local storage so it's there when you come back. This never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

• Calculator inputs, your current project and any saved projects
• Your units preference (inches or metric) and checklist ticks
• Whether you've unlocked the free extras, and your first name for a greeting
• If the sign-up service can't be reached, your sign-up details are kept on your device and sent automatically on a later visit

We don't use cookies for tracking, and the site doesn't load third-party scripts, fonts or ads.

Hosting

The site and the sign-up database run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Product links go to manufacturers' websites, which have their own privacy policies. Some links may become affiliate links in the future; if so, the retailer may know you came from EpoxyPlan.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email, or email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. If you're in the UK, EU or another region with data protection laws, you have these rights by law, and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Significant changes affecting how your email is used will be sent to subscribers first.
